For the ladies

A clothing exchange that empowers fashionistas to save the world!

If you want to save the environment, your money or both then you should be swapping not shopping! Just bring up to six garments or accessories you no longer wear but think others will value to exchange for a ‘new’ wardrobe. Why not rid your conscience of those guilt-inducing ‘skinny jeans’, clear the closest of the pre-loved frocks and those designer shoes that were always a half size two small?! Join us for an entertaining treasure hunt through an eclectic mix of styles, fashions and fads!

Admission $18 pre booked or $20 at the door

The Curvy Sister’s Wardrobe;

A clothing exchange for curvier ladies

Event in the pipeline, please email your support! Are you completely over a fashion industry that worships size nothings and doesn’t acknowledge that the average Australian woman is a size 14?! This swap is for womanly women who wish to swap garments they don’t wear for those they will in a friendly, social context.

Mums and Bubs Wardrobe;

A clothing exchange for mothers and their li’l ones

Event in the pipeline, please email your support! Not likely to wear that maternity frock in the near future? Or is your little one growing faster than you can shop? This exchange event provides an opportunity for mothers to swap and shop together, for themselves and for their little ones.

An up-market version of the My Sister’s Wardrobe exchange for the ladies with much stricter quality control and an emphasis on swapping frocks for special-occasions.

Excess Baggage; Accessories Exchange

Due to the overwhelming success of our accessories department of the MSW events, we have recently launched this exchange event where people swap the bags, shoes and scarves they no longer wear for those they will.

Events are held sporadically at The Croft Institute 21-25 Croft Alley, off Little Bourke St, Melbourne CBD

Walk-in-Wardrobe;

An exchange for guys and girls

What do you get when you add boys, girls and clothes-swapping?! A few giggles and usually a parade, and that’s from the over-enthused lads! If you have some decent wears that are going unworn, grab your girlfriend, boyfriend, sister’s and brothers and head to the exchange. This event provides an opportunity for boys and girls to swap together and for each other. This one ain’t for the painfully shy!

A large-scale event held sporadically at The Rose St market premises, Federation square and other venues.
